International School of the Gothenburg Region is an international school in Gothenburg, Sweden, founded in 1997. It educates students aged 5 to 16 across two central campuses: Guldheden for the Primary Years Programme and Götaberg for the Middle Years Programme. The International Section follows the International Baccalaureate PYP and MYP, taught in English, while the school also offers a Swedish National Section. ISGR has around 700 students in its PYP and MYP programmes, with over 60 nationalities represented. Facilities include campus libraries, outdoor play areas, a football pitch, art, music and science rooms, and new Guldheden facilities with classrooms, dining hall, music rooms and PE hall. A distinctive feature is its dual international and Swedish structure, allowing students from both sections to share activities. After-school options include music, crafts, chess, coding, drama, sports and ISGR Sports Club.
