Billing schedule and payment terms
- Billing rhythm: tuition invoiced in three instalments using a 40% (first term) / 30% / 30% split. Students enrolling mid-term are billed pro rata for the remainder of that term.
- Payment deadlines: payments must be made on or before the invoice due dates. A surcharge of 2% is applied on amounts unpaid after the deadline, plus 2% for each additional month of delay. The school reserves the right to demand full payment in advance where there are repeated late payments and may take legal action for significant unpaid balances. Re-enrollment is conditional on accounts for the prior year being fully settled.
- Family discounts: 10% reduction on tuition for families with three children enrolled (applies to tuition only) and 20% reduction for families with four or more children. These family discounts apply to family rates (not corporate rates) and are not cumulative with other discounts.
Optional / additional costs (not included in the tuition totals above)
- Co‑curricular / extracurricular activities: typical family pricing examples published include one activity PHP 15,000; two activities PHP 28,000; three activities PHP 39,000; additional activities charged (example: PHP 13,000 per additional activity). These costs are billed separately.
- Transport (school bus) and school meals (canteen): billed and collected directly by third‑party providers (not included in tuition).
- Car stickers: additional car sticker PHP 100 each (first sticker is free).
- Yearbook, class photos, language certification fees (DELF/CAMBRIDGE/DELE/DSD), school trips and other itemized extras: charged per item as applicable; one free yearbook per family is usually provided and extra copies are charged. School trips may be partially reimbursed in case of cancellation for natural/health risks under defined conditions.
Refund information and mid‑year departures
- Registration fee: non‑refundable. Refundable deposit: refunded on departure subject to account settlement and return of school property; the school may deduct unpaid balances from this deposit.
- Partial refunds for tuition when a pupil leaves mid‑year:
- For the 1st and 2nd trimesters: if a half‑trimester is started, the half‑trimester is payable in full; if a student departs before the Autumn break (1st trimester) or before the Winter break (2nd trimester), half of the current trimester may be reimbursed as specified in the school financial regulations.
- The 3rd trimester once started is due and non‑refundable; there is no refund once the third trimester has begun. Students joining mid‑year are charged pro rata for the remainder of the trimester.
- School trips: in the event of cancellation for natural or health risks (decided after consultation with the French Embassy), families will be reimbursed up to 50% of costs incurred and up to 50% of additional on‑site costs if return flights are postponed, subject to the policy spelled out in the financial regulations. The school may refuse participation in trips for unpaid accounts.
Boarding
- The school operates as a day school; no boarding program or boarding fees are listed.
Uniform / dress code and school shop
- The school uses a dress code rather than a strict uniform; for some outings a school T‑shirt may be required and appropriate sportswear is required for PE. School shop items (T‑shirts, supplies) and required textbooks or materials are charged separately via the school boutique.
Fee payment options and currency/exchange rate
- Accepted payment channels: payment at the school accounting office (cash/cheque) or online via the school's designated online payment portal. For online payments the portal applies a surcharge: 0.5% for credit cards issued in France and the EU; 1% for other cards. For check, over‑the‑counter bank payments or wire transfers, parents must indicate the student's name and provide proof of deposit; wire transfer charges are borne by the payer. The exchange rate for foreign‑currency payments is the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) rate as of the 1st day of the billing month. Contact for accounting: lfmaccounting@lfmanille.ph.
Penalties and other administrative provisions
- Late payment surcharge: 2% applied once after the due date, then 2% for every additional month of delay. The school may require full advanced payment if late payments are recurring. Re‑enrollment will be refused if prior‑year fees are unpaid. Families awarded a full French government scholarship are exempt from paying the refundable deposit and the first‑time registration fee; families awaiting a scholarship decision may receive temporary exemptions under the financial regulations.
Practical note
- Transport and canteen are arranged and billed by third‑party providers and are not included in the tuition figures above. Co‑curricular activities and other optional services are charged separately. Refund rules differ for trimesters and for certain extracurricular elements (see refund and trip sections above).
