Introduction
The Laureate International School network in Tanzania provides a British-oriented English program alongside the Tanzanian National Curriculum across multiple campuses in Dar es Salaam and Zanzibar. From age 3 to 18, students follow the Cambridge Pathway beginning with Cambridge Early Years, then Cambridge Primary, Cambridge Lower Secondary, Cambridge Upper Secondary and Cambridge Advanced, with Cambridge IGCSE offered at the Upper Secondary level and Cambridge International AS and A Levels in the Advanced stage. The school offers Cambridge Primary and Secondary under the Cambridge framework, supported by a language department delivering Literature, English, French, Arabic and Swahili. With around 3,000 students from more than 10 nationalities, about 80 percent speak more than one language.
