The school runs a multilingual Montessori program with immersion beyond English, allowing students to master French in addition to Spanish and English. English is the vehicle language; 50% of the curriculum is delivered in English, and all teachers are bilingual English/Spanish. From age 3, children experience English immersion in Casa de niños, where English is the working language and Montessori methods with Jolly Phonics are used. From Taller I, the full-day is taught in English with up to four hours per week of explicit English instruction. French is introduced from Taller I, with one hour per week for ages 6-9 and two hours per week from age 9. Cambridge exam preparation begins in 3rd grade, with Starters, Movers and Flyers in primary and B2/C1 by the end of primary. Reading at Home provides English and French materials in the library to support language learning.

Health and safety are a top priority, with a safe, nurturing environment where each child is supported academically, socially and emotionally. The ZSH Code of Ethics, Internet Safety Policy, Safeguarding Policy, and Staff Code of Conduct support safeguarding and ethical practice. The health, safety and wellbeing of all children are paramount to all staff. Campus security includes 24/7 secured campuses, controlled sign-in/out procedures, escorted visitors, and comprehensive emergency preparedness.

Enrollment is open all year round. Enrollment documents include the ZSH Registration form, ZSH Data Protection, SEPA Direct Debit, ZSH Authorization images, ZSH Middle School, ZSH General authorization excursions, ZSH Proof of absence, and ZSH Printed Summer Camp. All successful applicants are required to pay the registration fee for entry. Enrollment fees by program range from 93.75€ to 375€ for Infant, 200€ to 400€ for Lower Elementary, 200€ to 400€ for Upper Elementary, and 200€ to 400€ for Secondary. Discounts are offered: 50% off the enrollment fee for the second sibling; 13% off the lower of the tuition; 25% off enrollment for all siblings for large families; 10% off tuition if only one child attends; 15% off tuition for two children and 25% off for the third and subsequent children. Discounts do not apply to materials or other services and are not cumulative; the largest discount is applied to the lowest fee.
