Baleares International College (BIC), Sa Porrassa, is located in the Calvià municipality of Mallorca, approximately 15 kilometers from Palma. The school serves students aged 3 to 18, delivering the English National Curriculum culminating in IGCSE and A Level examinations. The campus features an indoor sports center, a swimming pool, and all-weather football pitches. Students utilize dedicated science laboratories and a drama studio for practical learning. A distinctive feature of the school is its status as an official center for the Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award, providing students with structured outdoor expeditions and community service opportunities. The language program includes Spanish and German from an early age, catering to both foreign language learners and native speakers. The school operates a private bus network with routes covering the southwest and central regions of the island, facilitating access for families living outside the immediate Calvià area.

Baleares International College - Sa Porrassa Campus teaches British Curriculum, Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge A Levels, EYFS (Early years foundation stage) for students aged 3 to 18.
Baleares International College offers a British style international education for boys and girls aged 3 to 18. There are two campuses on Mallorca: Sa Porrassa in Calvià and Sant Agustí on the outskirts of Palma. Lessons are delivered in English, with a team of language specialists; students learn Spanish, Catalan, German and French, with English as an Additional Language support. The school offers IGCSE and A Level qualifications. It is COBIS compliant and Mallorca's only COBIS compliant school. The Duke of Edinburgh's International Award is part of school life, and the community includes over 40 nationalities with specialist science, sport and art facilities.
GCSE and A-Level outcomes have excelled, making the school one of the Balearics' highest achieving international schools. Last summer, a third of all GCSE grades were A/A (7-9), significantly exceeding global averages. A-Level results in 2025 show strong performance, with 84% of A-Level grades at A-C.
A Levels remain the standard route for university entry. After completing A Levels, the majority of Sixth Formers proceed to higher education. Sixth Form students have studied at universities across Europe (including the UK and Spain), the USA and other countries around the world. Destinations include Alfonso X in Madrid, TU Delft in the Netherlands, Kings College London, University of Leeds, Universidad Europea in Madrid, Amsterdam University College, City University London, University of Southampton and UPC in Barcelona.
Your Journey to Joining Us: The admissions process is the same for Sant Agustí and Sa Porrassa. Step 1: Enquire or Book a visit. Fill in our online enquiry form to register your interest or book a school tour. You can select the school, request a virtual tour, and the admissions team will contact you. Step 2: Visit School. A personal tour of the school to explore classrooms and facilities and meet academic staff. Step 3: Start your Application. Apply via the Admissions Portal. Log in to view progress and submit documents; each child needs their own application. Step 4: Offer and acceptance. After review, a formal offer is sent via the portal; you sign the terms and conditions and pay the Enrolment Fee and Transcript Fee. An entry test or interview may be requested. Admissions are assessed in line with policies for Sant Agustí and Sa Porrassa.
BIC 2021 Scholarship Programme provides 50% of the tuition costs for the 2-year A Level programme funded by Orbital Education. Available to current Baleares International College students and new entrants starting A Level studies in September 2021. Scholarships awarded on achievement and potential. Example requirements include GCSE/IGCSE grades of B (or 6) and above in English, Mathematics and at least four other subjects; or GCSE/IGCSE grades of A/A (7-9) in the subjects chosen for A Level study.
