European School Ljubljana provides an international education for ages 4 to 18 within a European School framework. The Primary Level spans five years and operates in two language sections: English and Slovene, with the first foreign language taught from Year 1 and options including English, German or French, while Slovene is an additional subject. The Secondary Level lasts seven years and concludes with the European Baccalaureate. It is offered in two language sections, Slovene and English; from S1 students study additional foreign languages, and from S3 onward some subjects are taught in the chosen first foreign language. Established in 2018 by the Government of Slovenia, the school sits within the Ljubljana School Centre.
