House System
At The GUILD International College, we do not follow a traditional house system. Instead, we create smaller, age-appropriate communities through initiatives such as the Boys Club and Girls Club, designed to support students through their teenage and young adult years.

These groups provide a safe and supportive space for our neurodivergent learners to build friendships, develop confidence and navigate social, emotional and life experiences together. Through guided discussions, mentorship, leadership opportunities and shared activities, students strengthen communication, self-awareness, independence and relationship skills.

The GUILD International College teaches SEN focussed for students aged 7 to 35.

Curriculum
The college offers two learning routes - Inclusive Education and Special Needs Education. Both follow the Foundation to Year 10 Australian curriculum, integrating visual and performing arts programmes along with academics. This approach, along with therapy services, aims to help each student reach their full potential.

Inclusive Education - Programmes offered are Y1- Y10
Y1 - Y4 is for students 7 to 11 yrs, focusing on building strong
academic foundations while supporting individual
learning needs. The programme also nurtures
communication, self-regulation and social-emotional

For students 11 yrs and above focussing not only on
academics but also designed to cultivate essential life

Exam Results

Assessments at The GUILD International College are in the form of achieving learning goals in the student’s Individual Learning Plans (ILP). These are derived from a pupil’s Statement of Needs; Therapy reports and Educational Psychology reports as part of their diagnosis. ILPs are set up for individual pupils. These achieved targets are communicated to parents and students at the end of the academic year in a parent/teacher meeting and form the following year’s targets and assessments.

History
The GUILD International College was established in 2021 by Jayne Nadarajoo and Ganesh Kanapathy to support and empower neurodivergent students with skills required to transition to further education, work, structured workplace, independent living and living with support.

Initially starting with a small cohort of learners from our sister school, Melbourne International School, The GUILD has now grown into a beautiful inclusive community that offers a good blend of academic, vocational and life skills programmes.

The GUILD is dedicated to its founding vision, to provide a safe, inclusive environment where every learner is empowered, respected and celebrated.

Community
At The GUILD International College, community is the heart of everything we do. We are a diverse, inclusive and supportive network of students, families, educators, therapists and industry partners who believe in the potential of every learner.

We are a non-selective school catering to diverse age group and different abilities and over 20 nationalities. Our students come from a wide range of neurodiverse background including Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, Down Syndrome, Global Developmental Delay, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disability, Williams Syndrome and other genetic conditions & learning differences.

The school hosts parent workshops, family social days, annual concerts, speech days and cultural celebrations to bring families, staff, and students together. These events help build connections and a sense of belonging for everyone involved.

Facilities Overview
The GUILD International College provides a suite of facilities designed to support inclusive education for neurodiverse learners. The campus is airy and spacious, offering a quiet, warm, and secure environment for learning and living. The Life Skills Room supports real-life simulations and vocational skills training to prepare students for independent living. The school includes a Multi-Purpose School Hall, ICT Lab, Culinary Studio, Music Studio, The GUILD Canteen and outdoor activity areas, plus specialized spaces for learning. Many spaces are organized as dedicated learning areas to support programmes across Foundation, Transition, Career Pathways as well as arts and practical subjects.

Sports Facilities
The Multi-Purpose School Hall is a versatile space used for assemblies, physical activity, performances, community events, and training and workshops. Outdoor activity areas provide spaces for physical activity and social interaction. These facilities support movement-based learning and recreation as part of the curriculum. There is no dedicated sports complex listed, with activities accommodated in the hall and outdoor spaces. The spaces are designed to be safe and accessible for all learners.

Academic Facilities
Classrooms are spacious, air-conditioned, and furnished to create a conducive learning environment. The ICT Lab is fully equipped with state-of-the-art PCs and educational software to provide individualized learning experiences. The Life Skills Room (The HOUSE) supports independent living by providing real-life simulations and vocational skills training. The campus includes a College Library and multiple program-specific spaces such as Transition and Pathways classrooms, Art and Design, Floristry, and a Sensory Gym. Zen Room and Career Pathways areas support targeted learning.

The Music Studio offers an inclusive learning environment where students can express themselves creatively. The GUILD Canteen provides opportunities to develop functional skills and foster a sense of belonging. Culinary Studio support vocational and creative activities beyond core academics. The GUILD International College is an inclusive college for neurodiverse learners aged 7 to 35. The college follows the Australian Victorian Foundation to Year 10 Curriculum and includes a visual and performing arts programme, with therapy services.
