Walvis Bay Private School is a co-educational Namibian institution offering a phased curriculum across four school phases. The Junior Primary Phase (Grades 1–3) uses Afrikaans as the medium of instruction with English as a second language; subjects include Afrikaans Home Language, English, Mathematics, Environmental Studies, Religious and Moral Education, Physical Education, Information and Communication, Reading and Arts. The Senior Secondary Phase (Grades 10–12) offers NSSCO and NSSCAS; all subjects are at Ordinary Level in Grades 10–11 and AS Level courses are available in Grade 12; languages are compulsory, Mathematics is required, and options include Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Design and Technology, Geography, Accounting, Business Studies, Economics and Entrepreneurship. The school, founded in 1961, provides facilities for academic, cultural and sporting excellence, including science laboratories, ICT resources, and sports facilities such as netball astro courts and a hockey field, while hosting events such as the Desert Sport Festival and a vibrant arts program.
