Governance and Ownership

Woodrose International School is a social enterprise and a private educational institution.
Fees
Application fee
- A non‑refundable registration (matrícula) fee is charged to secure a student place; this registration fee must be paid before the start of the academic year and is not refundable.

Tuition fees (per year group and per term)
- The school publishes a full fee schedule showing tuition amounts by year group and by payment period (annual, semestral, trimestral/quarterly, monthly) for the Nampula branch. These published fee tables are presented as the school's official fee schedule for the campus. The numeric tuition amounts per term and per year group are contained in the school's registration fee schedule images for the Nampula branch and are not available in extractable text.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Payment frequency options available: annual, semestral (2 payments), quadrimestral (3 payments), trimestral (3 or 4 payments), and monthly (typically 10 instalments). Semestral, trimestral and quadrimestral options may carry discounts; monthly plans do not qualify for discounts.
- Payment deadlines: the school designates the 5th day of the month as the typical payment due/last day for a scheduled instalment; payments after that date incur penalties.
- Late‑payment penalty: a 30% surcharge is applied to any overdue tuition instalment, and any previously applied discounts (for siblings, payment modality, etc.) are revoked if payments are late.
- Payment plan changes: chosen payment modalities (annual, semestral, trimestral, monthly, etc.) cannot be altered to add more instalments during the academic year except by prior written approval before the school's established deadline.

Boarding fees
- No boarding fees are published for the Nampula branch; the available public information and school materials describe the campus as a day school and do not list boarding options or boarding charges.

Other compulsory costs and one‑off charges
- Materials and learning resources fee: a compulsory, non‑refundable annual materials/e‑learning resource fee is required at registration (covers LMS access, PDF textbooks, laboratory materials, and other consolidated learning materials). This materials fee must be paid at enrolment and is non‑refundable.
- Internal extraordinary tests/exams: late/extraordinary internal test or exam fees are charged at MT 500 per subject.
- Cambridge external exam costs: Cambridge examination entry fees, travel, accommodation and other expenses related to externally administered Cambridge exams are the full responsibility of the parent/guardian and are charged in addition to school tuition.
- Uniform, personal learning hardware and supplies: families are required to provide the student's uniform and individual learning equipment (including a laptop and fast internet), plus standard stationery and hygiene items; those costs are additional to tuition and materials fees.

Refund policy
- The registration (matrícula) fee and the materials/learning‑resources fee are non‑refundable. Tuition (propina) is described as non‑refundable except in the exceptional circumstance that the school formally ceases curricular activities; other refunds are not standard policy. A partial‑debt regularization process is defined for outstanding balances (50% payment of debt and a notarized confession of debt to schedule residual payments).

Fee adjustments and enforcement
- The school may apply discounts (for siblings, early payment or selected payment modalities) but discounts are conditional, temporary, and lost if payments become overdue. Transfers between branches are billed at the tuition rate of the branch where the student actually attends classes.

Accepted payment methods and bank details (Nampula branch)
- The school's required/official payment methods are electronic: internet banking (using the school's payment entity and student reference), the BCI mobile service (*134#), ATM (Ponto 24) transfers, or POS payments at the school's treasury. Cash payments are prohibited. Payment confirmations must be emailed to the branch treasury address.
- Nampula branch bank account details provided for payments:
- Bank: BCI
- Account name: Woodrose International School
- Account number: 888 575 301 0004
- NIB: 0008 0000 8885 7530 104 71

Summary of findings and limitation
- The school's registration form and admissions materials for the Nampula branch include a full, official fee schedule presented as images (labelled for the 2027/academic listings) that contain the numeric tuition amounts by year group and by term/payment period. Those numeric amount tables were embedded as image files in the registration form and were not available as extractable text during review; therefore exact tuition figures per year group and per term cannot be reproduced here from accessible text. The rest of the fee rules, payment terms, penalties and one‑off charges listed above were taken from the school's published registration and admissions materials.
