Al-Bayan International School (BIS) is a private, non-profit school in Kuwait teaching the American Curriculum to students aged 4 to 18. With a small student body of just 436 pupils, the school caps classrooms at a maximum of 18 students. Each homeroom is assigned a dedicated educational assistant to help teachers provide targeted academic and behavioral support. The curriculum places a heavy emphasis on digital literacy through its required Instructional Technology program. Elementary students begin with touch-typing and basic software applications, while middle and high school students advance to web page design, database creation, and desktop publishing. Non-native speakers receive Resource Room Support, while native speakers take targeted Arabic as a First Language (AFL) classes.
