International Metropolitan School’s Middle and High School is a bilingual day school in Alimos, Athens, serving students approximately 11–18 years old. Students aged 11–16 follow the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme, which connects traditional subjects through inquiry, interdisciplinary projects and real-world applications. From the 2026–27 academic year, students aged 16–18 can continue into the authorised IB Diploma Programme. Teaching is provided in Greek and English, with additional preparation available for French, German and Spanish language qualifications. Facilities include the Dimosthenis Library, which provides computers, digital materials, printing resources and librarian support, alongside a dedicated Technology and Science Laboratory equipped for practical learning. Students can join competitive mathematics, football, basketball, volleyball, fencing and language activities, as well as skiing, hiking and canoe-kayaking programmes. A distinctive feature is the school’s continuous IB pathway, allowing pupils to progress from inquiry-based Middle Years study directly into the two-year Diploma Programme within the same bilingual school community.
