Montgomery International School is an international IB World School for students aged 5 to 18, located in Brussels, Belgium. The campus occupies a 1907 building with a 500 m2 extension added in 2020 to accommodate Diploma Programme students. The school delivers the IB continuum—Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme—across two language tracks: an English-language programme with French as a second language, and an advanced bilingual English–French immersion option. In 2022 MIS achieved the best IBDP score in Brussels, outperforming the global average by five points. The campus features a science lab, a 3D printer, a bilingual library and dedicated spaces for theatre, research and study; DP students access the Brussels University library (ULB). External facilities support PE and sports at nearby venues, and theatre performances occur in professional Brussels houses. MIS joined the Ermitage Educational Group in 2023, reinforcing its international network and signature service-learning and university-counselling programs.

The school implements the IB curriculum with a focus on personal development. It aims to develop independent critical thinkers and to enhance students' social and communication skills.
The school offers an English-only programme with French as a second language, and a bilingual programme with French and English immersion. Students can choose the bilingual track even if they are not fluent in French, developing proficiency in both languages.

STEP 2: Share your child's last two years of school reports when applicable. Submit a reference when applicable. The admissions team reviews these documents to assess fit with MIS programs and language expectations.
STEP 3: Grade placement is confirmed based on submitted documents and any necessary assessments. A place is offered at MIS once placement is determined. Where necessary, placement tests in Math, English and/or French may be requested to determine the best course of study. The outcome ensures registration aligns with the PYP, MYP or DP track.
STEP 4: Fill out the enrolment forms on our Admissions Portal and upload the proof of payment. The enrollment forms complete the formal enrollment, and payment confirms the registration. Parents may receive confirmation that the enrollment is submitted and moving to final steps.
STEP 5: Student is enrolled. Our team will be in touch to schedule a placement test (if applicable) and confirm the first day of school. You will be contacted with next steps, including start date and any onboarding information.
