Bogaerts International School (BIS) South Campus is located on the historic Domaine Latour de Freins in Uccle, south of Brussels. The school provides the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum for students aged 3 to 18, covering the Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes. Situated within a six-hectare wooded park, the campus features a Flemish neo-renaissance main building, an indoor gymnasium, and an outdoor tennis court.A distinctive feature of the school is its professional sports partnerships, notably with Brussels Basketball and the Garrincha Padel Club. These collaborations allow students to train in professional facilities and engage with elite athletes. Academically, the school utilizes an "atelier-based" approach to the arts and integrates technology through robotics and coding workshops. BIS also offers on-site boarding, catering to a community of over 50 nationalities. Bogaerts International School has two Brussels campuses: North Campus in Diegem near NATO and South Campus in Uccle. It offers an IB continuum from Early Years to the IB Diploma Programme. North Campus Primary Years uses Learning Through Concepts and Connections, a transdisciplinary, inquiry-based approach with six explorations per year, taught in English with French as an additional language, and the curriculum includes English Language & Literature, French as an Additional Language, Humanities, Sciences, Physical Education, Visual Arts and Music. South Campus Primary Years Programme (Ages 3-12) uses a transdisciplinary, inquiry-based model that integrates language, mathematics, social studies, art and science across six learning units; Early Years (3-5) uses four units, and the PYP Exhibition occurs around age 11. Secondary Years on North Campus connect disciplines such as Psychology, Computer Service, English Language & Literature, Additional Languages (French & Spanish), Integrated Humanities, Mathematics, Visual Arts, Design, Physical and Health Education and Music, and lead into the Diploma Programme (DP) for ages 16+, which features core elements Extended Essay, Theory of Knowledge and CAS, with three Higher Level and three Standard Level courses.

Registering your child. To request a place, fill out the application form and the required checklist items. Once the application fee is received, we will continue with the admission process. This advances you to the pupil assessment stage. 4. Pupil assessment and trial. We require two full years of transcripts or reports, which are assessed by our admissions team. If approved, your child will be invited for a trial day (or an online interview). This session is part of the admission process. 5. Offer of a place. The school will email an offer within one week after the assessment and trial. The offer email confirms the next enrolment steps. You will then proceed with enrolment. 6. Completion.
